The short version
- No accounts or logins
- No names, emails, or other personal information collected
- No ads
- No tracking or advertising cookies
- Only anonymous page-view totals, with no cookies and no way to identify visitors
- Nothing students type is sent anywhere or saved by MathLabs
What students type
Answers and other work in a Lab stay in the browser tab. They are never sent to a server or saved by MathLabs. Closing or reloading the page clears them.
Settings saved on your device
A few preferences are saved in your browser’s local storage so they are still there next time, on that device only: light or dark mode, the home page’s grade filter and view, and each Lab’s teacher options (such as which problem types to show). These settings never leave the device. You can remove them by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.
Hosting
Like every website, MathLabs has to receive basic technical information (such as an IP address and browser type) to deliver its pages. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which handles that information to serve pages and protect the site from attacks. Everything else, including the fonts, comes from mathlabs.app itself. MathLabs does not use this information to identify, track, or advertise to anyone.
Page-view counts
To see which Labs teachers and students find useful, MathLabs counts page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It does not use cookies, does not store anything on your device, and does not identify or follow individual visitors. MathLabs sees only totals, such as how many times each page was viewed and from which countries. If a school’s network blocks the counter, every Lab still works normally.
Children and schools
MathLabs is designed for classroom use by students of all ages, including children under 13. Because it collects no personal information, there is no student data to store, share, sell, or delete.
